Throughout the five-years, Golden Maple overcame many difficulties.

First of all, thanks to the Anglican Ode to the Lord's Church as they generously provided space for Golden Maple activities.

Secondly, we thank the Government of Canada and the Mississauga City Senior Club for their support and assistance.

Thirdly, thanks to the Golden Maple council that was established in May 2021, who unceasingly built what Golden Maple is today.

We also thank all members that have been with Golden Maple throughout the years.

Golden Maple 5-Year Growth Milestone:

1. 2019 Held at Anglican Ode Hall: English classes; Dance; Tai Chi; Singing
2. Easter 2020: Zoom Window in Mizhou Chinese Groups. Since then, break through the epidemic, carry out various celebrations online, set up English learning, etc.
3. Online Activities in 2021: "Everyone Sing Joy"; "Vocal Lessons"; Learn to sing English; In cooperation with DBNC, the 1st intergenerational interactive computer course; Founded website, https ://goldenmaplecsa.com which opened the window to socialize.
4. For 4 consecutive years, the Department of Labor has funded the celebration of Canada Day, from online to in person.
5. $25,000.00 from New Horizons for the first time in 2021.
6. The first "Golden Maple Dance Team" led by Sun Shengying for the Community in 2022
7. In 2022, 15 evening events were opened, 21 lectures organized, a total of more than 4,000 participants.
8. 2023 Joined Mississauga Senior Group Club for Free Community Events: Added Table Tennis Club, Musical Band, Folk and Latin Dance 
9. First Crime and Community orientation held by local Police in October 2023
